Privacy Policy

What little we collect, why, and what we never do with it — no trackers, no ad pixels, no data resale.

Our Promise

Radiant Vault builds hardware that runs entirely offline, by design. Nothing about the device itself — the AI, the knowledge library, your queries — ever leaves the unit. This policy explains the much smaller set of data we do handle: the information needed to take your order, ship your unit, and support you afterward through our website and portal.

1. Information We Collect

Order information. When you place a pre-order or purchase, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, tier and add-on selections, and payment information. Payment card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us directly.

Account-free order lookup. We don't use passwords or persistent accounts. Order status is retrieved using your email address and order number, verified with a one-time code or magic link sent to that email.

Email sign-up. If you join our "Notify Me" list or make a pre-order reservation, we store your email address, which list you joined, and the date you subscribed (and unsubscribed, if applicable). We do not share this list with third parties for marketing purposes.

Contact form submissions. If you contact us, we collect your name, email, an optional order number, the topic you selected, and your message.

Cookies. We use one functional cookie to persist your cart across the Configure & Buy flow. It does not track you across other sites and is not used for advertising. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Analytics. We use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics (similar to Plausible) to understand aggregate site traffic. This does not identify individual visitors and does not feed any advertising network.

2. What We Don't Do

  • We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting pixels.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not build behavioral profiles beyond what's needed to answer "where's my order."
  • We do not require an account or password to check order status.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to: process and fulfill orders, communicate about order status and shipping, provide customer support, respond to inquiries, send updates you've opted into (launch news, content pack releases), and meet legal and tax obligations.

4. Who We Share Information With

We share the minimum necessary information with:

  • Our payment processor, to process payments and the stored-payment-method charge for your remaining balance at shipment.
  • Our shipping and insurance provider, to generate labels, purchase optional shipping insurance, and provide tracking.
  • Email service providers, to send transactional and opt-in marketing emails.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers, to operate the website and portal.

We do not share your information with data brokers or advertising networks.

5. Data Retention

We retain order records for as long as needed to fulfill warranty obligations, meet tax and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Email sign-up data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for a reasonable support-history period.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@radiantvault.com. California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. EU/UK residents: our legal basis for processing is generally contract performance (fulfilling your order) and legitimate interest (support, security) or consent (marketing emails).

7. Children's Privacy

Radiant Vault is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect information from, children under 18.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including relying on PCI-compliant processors for payment data so that we never store full card numbers ourselves.

9. Changes to This Policy

We'll update this page if our practices change and update the effective date above. Material changes affecting how we use previously collected data will be communicated directly where required by law.
