Pre-order & Deposit Terms
Deposit refundability up to shipment, what happens if production timelines slip, and your cancellation rights.

1. What a Pre-Order Is
Placing an order today reserves your build at your locked-in price and secures your place in our production queue. Nothing ships immediately — production and shipment happen on the timeline shown at checkout.
2. Deposit
Amount. A flat $100 deposit, the same across all four tiers (Cache, Vault, Reserve, Citadel), is due at checkout to place your pre-order.
What it reserves. Your deposit locks in your discounted pre-order price on your chosen core build. If our list prices rise later, your locked-in price does not change.
3. Pricing and Discount
Core builds are offered at a discount off current list price at the time you order. Your order record permanently stores the list price, discount applied, and total price at the time of purchase — this is what you owe, regardless of any later pricing changes on the Site. Add-ons, content packs, and subscriptions are priced at full list price and are not discounted, even if bundled with a discounted core build.
4. Remaining Balance
The balance beyond your deposit is automatically charged to your payment method on file when your unit ships — you don't need to take any action. You'll be notified before this charge occurs.
5. Cancellation and Refund
You may cancel for a full refund of your deposit and any amount paid, any time up until your unit ships. This includes any time during production. Once your unit ships, cancellation is no longer available; a completed order at that point is instead governed by our Shipping & Returns policy for standard returns, or our Warranty Policy for defects.

6. Production Timeline Changes
Estimated production and ship windows shown at checkout are estimates. If your build's timeline slips meaningfully, we'll notify you at the email on file. Your cancellation right for a full refund remains available for as long as your order hasn't shipped, regardless of any timeline change.
7. What's Not Covered by These Terms
Once your order status moves to "Shipped," these Pre-Order & Deposit Terms no longer apply — your order is instead governed by our standard Shipping & Returns and Warranty policies.
8. Institutional / Bulk Pre-Orders
Fleet plan and other bulk orders may have separately negotiated deposit, pricing, and cancellation terms agreed at the time of quote. See our Institutional & Bulk Order Terms.
